Managed to survive those gales! PHEW. We escaped undamaged, but others were not so lucky were they? Today is a beautiful day - you would never know what had gone on just a couple of days ago.

This is the first chance I've had to upload some stuff I've worked on in the last week.

My good friend's birthday this week. We are all flat broke, so I made her a little brag book. I used those ubiquitous papers again (just love them thanks Shabby Princess). She said she loved it but didn't like the photo of her - so I haven't included it here. To be fair, they were taken just 5 hours after giving birth - I thought she looked marvellous!

Done a LO for Crafty Ness using the latest kit. Really pleased with the result but my picture hasn't turned out too well.

Took loads of photos today of reluctant children and hubby. However, perserverance pays off as I have some that are keepers. Plenty of scrapping material. Got a great one of Pete for a change.

Just catching up stuff from the last few days.

I did this LO from my 30th birthday bash - 10 years ago! I had a barn dance (just loads of swing ya pardners and dozi doe. Having lots of alcohol and silly friends made the night go with a bang! Such fond memories. Papers are Cosmo Cricket, chipboard - K&Co.
This one is based on the Pencil Lines sketch. I'm trying out 8 1/2 x 11 for size. Finding it a bit difficult. I thought having less space would make it easier for me to put a page together more quickly. Turns out I'm just slow! The papers are those lovely ones from Shabby Princess. See I have used them for those of you who are counting.
Yet more of the same. I'm having a bit of a green moment again aren't I? The kids and I rented a couple of movies over the Xmas holidays. We rente Shark Boy an Lava girl because it was in 3D. Not the best movie, but certainly made a better photo opportunity than the others.LOL.
At last, a change of papers. Photo taken in Brueton Park in the New Year. Used the lovely KI Memories papers from last year (I make a few papers go a very long way!) Stitched some of the buttons on - took me hours! The alphas are mounted on foam for dimension. Funny thing was I'd finished the whole thing before I'd realised that I'd spelt MUNKINS. I just plain forgot the C and H. DOH. Had to take it all off and do it again - hence the squished effect. Brains of a rocking horse.

Uh-oh. I bought another digi kit I didn't need. But I had to. This one is fantastic. From the Shabby Princess (she is sooo talented). But this one is different. I have actually used and I've printed some off so that I can create an album for my Aunt who is staying with me.

2 LO's. Yes I know. Incredible isn't it. Something has to be said for digi doesn't it. Just wish I was better at it.

I DID IT! I got on another Design Team. I don't know how, but Scrapbook Sisters have put me on their team. WOW! I'm sooooo proud. Thank you gals for the vote of confidence. Although they told me the other day, I didn't think I'd gloat about it, but now I'm thinking what the heck? I'm soooo chuffed that I could shout it from the hilltops.

I got this fab picture of my munchkins the other day (a rare occasion when they'll pose for a photo).

Only 1 more day until the kids go back!

I love my kids to pieces, but there is only so much you can stand. Don't get me wrong, they were really good today, but yesterday was a little horrendous!

Got a LO done for the house challenge - never done one before. I had these ArtGirlz charms for ages - finally got around to using them. I made a 'body' from papers, ribbon and ric-rac. I love the way they dangle (and how skinny my arms are. LOL) I LOVE the cowboy boots - just need some in real life now. Keep your fingers crossed!

Happy New Year!

Have you made your resolutions? I guess mine will be the same as last year and the year before.LOL.

We had friends over on Saturday night for drinks (I am trying to play cupid to 2 friends who very much deserve to find love). I engineered some drinks so they could meet - keep your fingers crossed.

So last night we didn't celebrate - too jaded from Saturday. I did get to play though.

I actually did this one a couple of days ago. DD doing her looking cute for Christmas. Was inspired by some Dana's Closet papers (I've had them a year but couldn't bear to use them).

Another Christmas LO to add to my collection. Funny thing is I've not actually taken any Christmas photos yet. I hope to gather the kids together today to take some offical photos.

I did my first ever sketch from Pencil Lines yesterday - thank You! I really enjoyed doing this because I seem to be in a bit of a rut - although I must say I still have used all the same things as normal. Very pleased with the result.
