I've been using those lovely Foofala papers - they are sooo gorgeous but very girly.
This first one I've also used some Anna Griffin papers which I've CR into that curly mat. The colours are just dreamy. I was having a really bad personal day - hormones probably. I completely lost the plot and was in floods of tears. Lauren came up to me and gave me a big hug saying "I love you Mummy" as she often does. It does make it all worthwhile.

Satisfying my itch for all rik raks, buttons and felt with this one. I'm also lovin birds at the moment. After successfully making one for my journal, I did this one but with a bit of dimension. Really pleased with the result. PHoto is of Lauren aged 18months. Again Foofala, Anna Griffin, hand cut hearts, felt, gingham.

Jacob at the park climbing frame. It kinda looked like the base of a house so I ended up using the cardboard to make the roof. Journalling reads, "Be Careful, slow down, Watch Out! We may seem like we want to dampen your spirit but we just want to keep you as safe as houses" Paper - Urban Lily

Jacob at 5 months taken at a Pixie photo shoot. He was as good as gold that day. Papers are Crate Paper, K&Co

Lauren's 3rd birthday party at our house. The kids ran riot and had a marvellous time! Those SEI papers have been hanging around for the longest of time. I like them but they are a bit loud. I have cut a 3 out of scrap paper and used it as a mask for the title. Also used my lovely little sequins and vintage buttons again.

Well. Well. Half term is finally over. I must be really hormonal 'cos I just couldn't cope with it all last week. I lost the plot on several occasions. Thank goodness for paper and buttons.

I've also got a bit of a thing about making these journalling blocks at the moment. It's because I'm waiting on a stamp from the US (thanks Audrey) - she is responsible for me lusting over several stamps!

Wasn't it brilliant having snow - all over and done with in a couple of days, but a great scrapping opportunity. I actually found out that I don't possess any snow materials - must correct that next year.

Let it Snow Let it Snow.

Yes, at long last we have snow. We've only waited 3 years to use our sledge. But we did it and we had a blast! Schools were closed today so first thing we went out for a snowball fight. We then went down the park to sledge. I towed the kids all the way there - now that must be worth a few weight watchers points (will make up for the chocolate I had today).

Jacob has been in a funny mood though - all excited but very whiny. Definately need a lo to cover his moods. Lauren was an expert sledger. She was really delighted going down hill.

Jacob is really a smarty pants though. He got put forward for a maths workshop at a local school - only 4 kids from our whole year have been invited. Wow. Has it given him any more confidence or verve for homework? Nah.

Do you ever get one of those days when it just comes together? Today is one of those. We were supposed to go out for DH birthday yesterday but the babysitter let us down at the 11th hour. My consolation prize? A night of scrapping. Tee Hee. Every cloud has a silver lining.

I set a challenge for our local crop last week. I took a photo of the girls. We are all going to scrap it in our own way. It will be great to see how each of us interpret the same picture differently.

Here's mine.

I originally intended to create a class from the LO. However, it might be a tad fiddly for everyone to cut out. I love layers and dimension so I've done my usual and current favourite details.

The papers are from collage press. They are a gorgeous pale blue and pale green. Unfortunately the pictures don't do the colour any justice.

Catch up post.

Life just gets in the way of scrapping sometimes. LOL. Still hectic is fun. On a mission to get fit, get healthy, get organised, get tidy, get my keyboard fixed. I've got a dodgy d so don't be surprised if a few go missing.

I got my beautiful kit from Scrapbook Sisters. Have already done 2 LO's and a baby keepsake. I'm so chuffed with them but I'm not allowed to tell just yet.

We've taken advantage of some lovely crisp weather recently and more importantly, great photo weather.

A rare photo indeed. The kids and I in the same picture! Even more rare, a very simple, clean LO. We had a fab day at Kingsbury water park. Cold and refreshing.

Another Xmas LO using the last of the KI Memories. I've made a few papers go a very long way! Photo taken at Hatton Country world. Unfortunately we had no rotten tomatoes!

This is a LO for Crafty-ness DT. I was given a couple of BG Blush papers. Unfortunately as I wasn't given 2 of anything, I had to use a different colour background for the 2nd page. Still looks great in real life. Took me ages to hand cut all those flowers!

I'm not getting on with the new blogger - seems to have loads of bugs in it including duplicating pictures by the looks of it. Still you get the drift.
