BRRRR

Very chilly here. It's attempting to snow but hasn't quite managed anything worthwhile.

Firstly a little vent. If you're going to leave a comment that links to something rude, crude or infectious - DON'T BOTHER! I won't approve it so you're wasting your time.

** End of Rant **

You'd think people would have better things to do with their lives than spam people with rubbish or rude stuff. We have to moderate hundreds of posts at Allyscraps by people who want you to look at porn, buy pills, etc. No one looks at this stuff. I bet no one buys any of it, so why do they bother? It just takes up good people's time in moderating them. ARGGHHH.

Sorry, I did go on a bit!

On to some fun stuff. Scrapdreamie ran a little comp the other day to use 4 different manufacturers on 1 layout. I did this one :-

I was so surprised to be picked as their winner. Thank you!

Just doing some stuff for Easter while we're in the spirit of things.

This is Bunty - my little bunny rabbit. I've cut her out of felt and coloured her in with pens. She is so cute IRL.

She'll be here a lot I suspect over the next few days/weeks. I wanted to try out some different stuff to spice things up a bit. Shame the weather has been so dull. Makes photographing your projects very challenging.

Lolli on a recent trip to a park. She looks so happy when she's outdoors. Can run and run and run. Must be getting that spring feeling.

Thought I'd share a little sneak peak of something we're doing at Allyscraps this Friday. Why don't you pop in and take a look on Friday?

I love all the glitteriness (is that a word?) of those American Craft letters. YUM YUM.

TFL!

Good Friday

Well so far so good anyway.

The weather is supposed to turn nasty this weekend, so we've cheated in our house and did our Easter Egg hunt today. Lots of little eggs found they way around the garden - just hope they don't all end up in little tummies.

Got my Easter head on. Did this pinwheel the other day - sometimes you have to get things out of your system.

I did this layout for Allyscraps using Daisy D's Maybe Baby collection. The papers are so beautiful IRL. Lolli loves her little toys. She is just so cute. She sits on the bed and holds a class for all her Humphrey's corner elephants. She teaches stuff and reads books to them. Ahh.

The wings are made from sparkly vellum - so pretty.

My oh my.

Two posts in one week. That's almost real blogging.

I have had a little run on Jacob layouts recently, which is lovely because he can be very elusive in front of the camera. It normally takes a bribe or two.

I've used some old basic grey papers for this one - you may have noticed the stars and circle thing going on. I've just got to get it out of my system. Alright?

This is based on a Pencil Lines sketch I did a while ago using some MME papers (yummy).

The photograph was taken by Lauren (aged 4) during our little photo competition when we went to Baddesly Clinton. I wouldn't mind, but I took one straight after and hers was far better than mine!

Lastly, another from Disney trip, well Universal to be exact. We finally managed to find a bit of shade and some fans to cool off and we made the most of it! The kids goofy around as usual.

Not long until Easter.

Someone ought to tell the weather man that easter means sunshine and flowers. No such luck here. Dull, raining and very dreary outside.

Good job we have scrapbooking! Every day can be a happy day when you have yummy supplies to cheer you up.

I'm in an Easter mood - have been for ages. (Think chocolate and I'm there).

Remember a while back that I got to play with the new Scrapbook Sisters Kit? Well it's now gone on sale and it's lush! Check it out here. The kit is jammed packed with lush papers from My Mind's Eye (all double sided) as well as matching cardstock, paper lace, board covers to make a book or hanging, inks. Wow it's a box of delight through your letterbox.

I've gone Disney mad. I have been working on a project which needs to be done asap (note to self). I've really struggled with the bright colours, but have landed on using stars and circles to make life easy on myself.

Don't suppose I could do a whole album like it but it's lovely to play.

I bought myself a K&CO paper pack (lovely vintage double sided papers) just what I need in an emergency. I'm waiting on my kit from
Allyscraps which will be packed with lovely summery papers. So I'm keeping myself busy with some vintage stuff. Note the new birdie die (I'm sure it'll be making a very frequent appearance.

School Days

Remember when your Mum said "School - best days of your Life" and you thought Yeah. Right. I hate to admit it but she was right.

So over at this week's Book of Me theme is School Days. What we remember of school, the fun things we did, the stuff we hated.

I loved school for the most part - a bit of a girly-swat.
Don't laugh at the photos - my Mum obviously didn't believe in fringes.

I had loads of fun with these LO's recounting my fond memories of school. I had even more fun embellishing the background with paints and inks.

So why not join in with us and take up the challenge?

Happy March!

Hope you all had a great Mother's day (I did).

I helped my good friend Teresa at her local community centre today. There was a special event for International Women's Day. Lots of local women from a very underprivileged area enjoyed various activities. We ran the card making a beading tables. There was also Bollywood dancing, barn dancing and some yummy food.

For those of you from Scrapbook Inspirations popping in to see the Digital tag book - HELLO! I've got some more pictures for you. I can't say enough how easy this book is to create and then you can just slip in new photos for the next project! I like that kind of gift.

If that's a little more than you can bear - what about this one - I did a plain photo one for DH as he'd hate all the frills.

or this one. A paper-based project. I've used double sided papers but cardstock and pp would be great!

No laminator? Go and buy one! You can get them for £10 and they're so handy to have around. LOL.

For those of you who are not here about the book then I'm probably talking to myself anyway!

TFL!
