Just a little catch up.

I've been working like mad on some kits from ScrapGenie andScrapbook Sisters . I've been layering and texturing like crazy! I haven't got photos yet, but I'll try tomorrow.

So in the mean time, have some layouts from the last few weeks...

This is based on a build a page sketch from Prima (I think Anam did the sketch). I've used bits from my Story of My Own kit and bits of gorgeous Prima (the best).

I just love distressing at the moment, my poor fingernails are completely shot!

Don't you just love those crystals?!

I'll finish off with the 2 projects I did for AllyScraps

More Cogsmo

There are rare occasions when you've made something that becomes your absolute favourite thing ever.

I've been using Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo for AllyScraps. My good friend Teresa had given me some scrap board a few months back. I decided to make a little door plaque for Jacob (he doesn't normally get scrappy gifts).

I used plain black bazzill for the background and doodled on top with white pen.

The cogs and robots have been taken from the Cogsmo Die cut sheet or the Cogs paper.

So much fun!

MIA

I know before you complain. I haven't blogged in ages.

I have been really tied up with stuff last week. It's like buses - they come in 3's. Still life has been fun!

I have been busy with scrapping too so I have some things to share.

Firstly, some peaks at projects I've been doing for ScrapDreamie.

I got to play with Scenic Route Providence kit. It's a huge pack of paper, stickers and chipboard. The patterned papers are double-sided (you know what a sucker I am for DS paper).

The bunting has been done before, but it always looks so different. I like that the colours are so bright and fresh - perfect for a garden party I think.

We had a cyber crop over at Allyscraps on Saturday. Everyone was so enthusiastic the place was a real hive of activity.

Our local crop was on Sunday where I worked on a project for Allyscraps using the Basic Grey Sugared line. It is SOOOOO cute I can't wait to upload it. Here's a sneaky peak for now.

The BG chipboard shapes are so cute. They were calling out for some cute baby photos.

I was still stoked up after 8 hours of cropping that I came home and played with Cogsmo from Cosmo Cricket.

Such fun colours and die cuts. I also doodled the tick... tock... in circles using white pen (which I adore).

I think it has become one of my favourites now. You can see the full picture over at Allyscraps.

Just a quick note.

I realise I haven't blogged in ages - just been too busy which is a shame, because I know I should.

Have despatched my kit for Scrapbook Sisters now - I'll post up some piccies tomorrow hopefully.

I thought I'd share what I did for Random Chaos this week. We had to make a baby LO without using traditional baby colours. A little bit tricky for me as I didn't have anything loud (not my thing generally).

I go for teal pp though which I'd never use on a baby photo of Lauren. I've also used the stamps from my Story of My Own kit. How cute are they?!

Although it doesn't look very orange, those clouds are made from Sassfrass papers (also Story of My Own).

See those stamps? They have appeared on everything recently. They're the gorgeous stamps from Prima. YUM YUM.

Solihull crop is on Sunday, and I'm doing the class this week (hopefully). All set for it and I'm really pleased with the LO. Hope that everyone else likes it too.

Have fun!
