I'm Still Here!

I've not posted for ages so my appologies if you keep popping in and nothing changed.  I've been super-busy with work and home but I have been scrapping in between.

I'll share a few projects that I've done Manor House last month.  Then hopefully I'll catch up with my other DT stuff over the next few days.

I had some of Tilda's beautiful papers and die-cuts.  I love the cheerful colours and images.

I picked out flowers from Manor House Creations Enchanted – Sweet dreams, Sprinkles

It was Mother's Day last month in Australia (and probably the rest of the world), so the team all made presents for Mum.

I had a blank MDF plaque which I covered in various papers from Scrap Cake.

I then added layers of flowers and leaves from MHC

Topped off with a tag and charm.

Sorry for the short post.  I promise that I will be quicker with my next one because I still have loads to catch up on.

Thanks for popping in.

I decorated the box very simply using Tilda papers and die-cuts. The Very pretty flowers will brighten any table or room.

When decorating any project, I look to pick out two or three colours that compliment one another.

I added tiny pearl beads to wire as a small embellishment for added Va Va Voom...

I hope you guessed my letter!  Off now to Facebook to complete the hop.  Good Luck!

Merly April Challenge

I thought I'd join in with the challenge this month over on the Merly Blog.

The challenge this month was to scrap yourself.  Yikes!  That's always a tough one.  Well I bit the bullet and scrapped some random things about me (or the things I love/hate).

You may recognise the photo as the one that was taken during a photoshoot last year (long story).  Being as the photographer had done such a good job, it's the only one I'm scrapping from now on! LOL.

The title was a very good excuse to use some odd letters from the very many old packs of Thickers I possess.

I used paper scraps left over from the Fine and Sunny collection as well as the uber-cute die-cuts.

I think this is a fun layout to do and one worth repeating in a few years time as tastes change.

There is a fabulous £20 voucher up for grabs and only a couple of weeks left to enter.  Full details can be found here.

Thanks for popping in.  Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Manorhouse Creations Blog Hop!

Almost Time...

For a fabulous blog hop!

The team at Manor House Creations have some wonderful projects to share this weekend and we want you to pop in and be inspired!  What's more, there will be lovely goodies and candy along the way.  Woo Hoo!

In the meantime I thought I'd share a project I did for Easter.

I took a basic basket and added a handle and a little lace.  I raised the base so that the egg and flowers above the edge.

I covered the papier mache egg with tiny punched hearts (I know, I need to get out more).  The Sprinkles flowers are just gorgeous.  The colours will make any project POP!

The beautiful Enchanted flower really is a show stopper!

So don't forget to pop along to the Manor House Creations blog to take part on Sunday.

Thanks for popping in.
