Charity Crop Announcement

As some of you may know, I had been working on Scrap365 last year but left for pastures new, working at a charity based near to where I live. My current role is quite different from working at the magazine but it has been most rewarding in so many other ways.

The Cystitis & Overactive Bladder Foundation (glamorous I know!) is only a small charity but it does so much good work helping people who have to suffer the most awful illnesses. The charity relies on donations and fundraising to keep its work going and they are a lifeline line to so many people.

So I'm happy to say that Nicki and I (with the help of many others) are running an all-day crop in aid of the COB Foundation. All the proceeds from the day will go to the charity and it will make a massive difference. So if you fancy having a great day out, classes, a kit, lunch and a lot of laughs, make a note in your diary.
More details will follow but you can reserve your space or find out more. Just email me - cropkat@gmail.com.

A few favourite things...

It's been a little while since my last post (again), but also a little while since I scrapped for scrapping sakes. At our crop recently, we had a second hand sale and I snapped up some papers and stickers that caught my eye. I love to put together papers from different collections and there is nothing like new papers to play with!

One of my favourite things on a layout is circles. I just adore them! I loved the colours in the autumnal papers

My DD is doggie-mad! Her friend has a chihuahua which they had to put on a baby swing of course.

I know there is a big trend for inks, paints and textures but I'm rather enjoying going back to a more traditional style at the mo. They have the added advantage of fitting into my albums easier too.

Save the Date!

I'm so excited because we are hosting a special charity crop/class for the charity that I work for - The Cystitis & Overactive Bladder Foundation (COB). It's a bit of a mouthful but a very worthy cause. The charity crop will be held on  11th May 2014 here in Solihull, West Midlands.

It would be FANTASTIC if you could join us! Watch this space for more information about the classes, kits and costs etc. You can email me if you would are interested and would like me to add you to my mailing list (cropkat@gmail.com)

Thanks for popping in.
