Pencil Lines Sketch 170

I think a bit of practise makes all the difference.  I had been making so many Christmas projects in December that making layouts became harder.  I've thrown myself back into layouts so at least now they I can scrap them in one night!

Anna created another fabulous sketch this week.  I'm continuing with my run on glimmer mists, this time mixing Distress Inks with the mists to create the background.

Just love the cogs and clocks from Tim Holtz - only wish I had more!

I've used a mixture of stamps here including Paper Artsy (cogs, sentiment), 7 Gypsies (label), Technique Tuesday (border stamps).

I've embossed the chicken wire stamp (Stampington).  The sentiment is Unity.  I love the metal grill (Making Memories) which is under the photo and label.

I'll leave you with a sneaky peak at a project I've done for Ally Scraps - I think it may be my cutest one yet!  Check out the blog tomorrow for all the details :)

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. love all the masking and misting, so pretty!

  2. LOVE your work Morag - looking forward to seeing more @ Pencil Lines :)

  3. I love the glimmer misted background Morag, the screens are gorgous. They work so well with the cogs and embellishments you've used. I wish I could keep my layouts as clean as yours, they stunning.

  4. A fabulous layout Morag. I love the misting too.
