You may have noticed, but I've had a bit of a thing for Halloween this year. I've started early so I may actually get fed up of it by the time it gets here.
Here is another pumpkin - this one for the fireplace hearth.
The papier mache pumpkin (Hobbycrafts) was painted with acrylic paint, before being sprayed liberally with gold spray.
I love how the leaves turned out. They're cut using Spellbinders leaf die, before being inked with various Distress inks. More ink and gold spray before being crumpled and attached.
Well more of the same really. Those fab stamps are Inkadinkadoo.
The whole pumpkin thing might just be out of my system by now. I hope so, as I'm running out of space!
Thanks for popping in.
What a fantastic idea. I've been explaining to my 6 year old this afternoon why we can't carve a pumpkin just yet as it will end up a mouldy mess by the time halloween comes around. I might have to look at these for next year.
